THEORY 1: Music Theory Course How to Read Music

Fundamental course for complete beginners to learn how to read music. This music theory course covers topics like pitches, rhythms, clefs, note values, key signature, time signature, and essential musical terms for performers such as tempo markings and performance directions. This course is also suitable for people who want to brush up on their basic theory knowledge. By end of these lessons, you will learn how to read music, the theory basics, and essential musical terms and markings.

 

THEORY 2 : INTERVALS AND TRIADS

Explore the relationship between notes and learn about intervals, scales, and triads, which prepare you for the study of harmony. Topics covered include interval writing and identification (major and minor intervals, perfect intervals, augmented and diminished intervals), interval inversion, major and minor scales (natural minor, melodic and harmonic minor), diatonic triads, Roman numerals, and the harmonic functions of triads. These theory lessons will help you understand melody and harmony better.

 

MUSIC THEORY 3 CHORDS AND HARMONY

Learn about triads, seventh chords, and their harmonic functions. Basic harmonic analysis using Roman numerals and figured bass notation will be covered as well. Other bonus materials include irregular meters and time signatures, alto clef, tenor clef, compound intervals, transposing instruments, and more.
